a lot as been going on

First off the ENT appt went great. His hearing test was awesome (NO hearing issues or fluid in the ears at all). They were able to do the "kid" test instead of the test they usually use for toddlers because he was being so good. The ENT dr came in after the hearing screen and checked him over. He also checked his palate because Q22 deletion children (a test Dawson just had done) 99.9% of the time have palate problems. Hus palate was fine do the ENT thinks his test will be fine also. He wants to see him back in 8 months "just in case" I guess a lot of I.V meds he had as a baby Can cause hearing lose over time so they will just monitor him to be 100% sure that his hearing stays fine.

We had an appt with the new pead dr's fill in because his pain is getting worse not better (I think its because of the nice weather and he is much more active) She took him off the new meds and is booking him an EMG. He also has a round of blood work (and more ck levels) to be done soon (we had to wait 6 to 8 weeks). She brought up MD again and that is what this EMG test is for. We are praying its not MD and something that can be treated.

He also had a consult with Tyke Talk last week (also went great). She is putting him on the wait list (about 6 month wait time) again "just to be safe". He studders just a bit (within normal limits for a 2 1/2 y/o child) and has a slight lisp (again still within normal limits for a child his age). This way if by some slim chance it does get worse and not better he is already on the wait list.

So I think I have covered all that has went on in the last 3-4 weeks and over all things seem to be going well.
