first hospital visit for a boo boo last night

Poor monkey spent most of last evening in the ER. He took a face first ride down the stairs. The toy tool box he had in his hand jammed into his mouth cutting the top of his gums all up:( There was blood EVERYWHERE. Splattered on the wall and all over him. Took a few mins to see where the blood was coming from. Once I got the bleeding to slow and seen the cut I took him to the ER. Thankfully they did not put stitches in (the inside of the mouth heals quite nice without them) and we were able to come home with an ice pack and a big fat lip.

He is doing really well today. Eating (soft foods) and drinking lots, not to much pain and hopefully be able to eat his birthday cake tomorrow:)
