Raging UTI, more blood work and fluid in his ear is what we are dealing with. Thankfully his ear is NOT infected. So for now he is on an antibiotic for the UTI and maybe it will clear up the fluid to? He seems to be in good spirits, playing and acting normal, no fever ext, so that is good.
We went to London today to see if we can get the helmet issue cleared up and according to them the school board "should" cover that. Called the school today to let them know and they are looking into it and will call us back tomorrow. So maybe he will start school by the new year???
So we have 10 days of the yucky meds then off for lots of blood work (not sure why he needs this done but whatever) and more urine tests, if his urine grows anything from todays sample I am sure she will switch his meds (she just gave him penicilin today).

Stand your ground and firmly refuse a doctor's "diagnosis" when they say having an intact child is a reason for UTIs... if it happens. This is simply NOT the case and a foreskin unfriendly doctor can cause HARM to a boy by suggesting circumcision is a "cure"; the foreskin is NOT related to UTIs in the least!
