A rough night:(

Poor little guy. With all this nice weather the last few days we have been outside cleaning the yard and playing. Dawson did not nap at all after falling and putting his teeth right through his lip yesterday so we had lunch and went out to play with the jungle gym climber and slide daddy put together for them. We were out all day and most of the evening. I thought about giving him some pain meds before bed but figured we would wait and see. Should have given it before. Within and hour of falling asleep he was up and screaming in pain. I gave him a massage and some motrin and thankfully he went back to bed about 45 mins later and slept the night through.

Its amazing watching him run and play with all the other kids. 1 year ago he could not stand alone let alone walk. It was frustrating for him not being able to run and play with the kids now he is all over the place and for the most part can keep up well with them.

He has been falling much more lately. So far he has a HUGE cut and goose bump on his forehead (side) from falling into the kitchen table,bruises and scrapes on his knees and arms and yesterday face planted on the sidewalk resulting in some minor scraps on his forehead and more on his knees. We are not sure how he put his teeth through his bottom lip. He was supposed to be napping and said he did it on his crib.

I got a call yesterday for the seating clinic at the children's hospital and they booked us an appt for may 28th. Everything out here takes sooo long:( They are short staffed. So hopefully once we get in there it will not be long before we have a stroller he can fit into for long walks,day trips ext.
