Poor D man has not started school yet:( I am sad for him. This is a BIG step in growing up and I feel he is being robbed of that. He does not even ask anymore if he is going to school. Yesterday he did go to school to get his picture taken though, he was excited about that. Hopefully we will figure out this stupid helmet mess soon.
Other than that things are well. He has not had much pain this week (YAY) and we hope to get to Apple land this weekend to do our apple picking. We have a few appts coming up with urology and some tests (all part of the study he will take part in for his tethered cord). We are hoping to get some answers from urology about the blood and protein in his urine and why he has to "push" his pee out. I sat him on the toilet yesterday and he pushed his pee out (the kind of push you would do for a bm), He DID get some pee (not a full pee) but he was SOOO proud of himself:) it was cute. Huge smile and "YAY I did it", "Did you see that mommy" in his excited voice. I was proud of him to:) He is so cute lol.
So onto the other kidlets,
Keegan started Karate last weekend and LOVES it. This is just a starter class, gives them the basic moves and "rules" of Karate. After the 14 weeks of this class he can move right into real Karate. He can't wait.
Mikalah signed up for a part in the Camp Rock 2 movie. We got the first e mail and just waiting for the second. We hope she gets it,what a great experience that would be for an 11 year old:)
Emma started her psychological testing last week. She really likes the Dr (that's a good thing) and we are hoping to get some much needed answers for her so we can move into helping her. She is doing well with her IEP and her printing is coming along nicely. She got 9 out of 10 on her spelling works this week (she is allowed to copy the words from the board) Her copying the RIGHT is a HUGE deal (normally she would just write random letters), So this is great. We are very proud of her.
Jenna is also doing great in school. For the most part she is right with her class (she also has an IEP). She also has a little "boyfriend" that follows her around. She is quite annoyed by this boy and last week he gave her a black eye. I was VERY angry and went right to the school. They did deal with it and the poor little guy was just playing a game with her and was a bit to rough (this child is also special needs). She is not so mad at him anymore and they are friends again.
Owen, well he is just sweet little Owen. Still to smart for his own good lol. He loves school and learning. I am thinking about signing him up for Karate also. I think he would love it.
So we are getting ready for Thanksgiving,Dawson's 4th birthday (Pirate Style!) and Halloween, and hopefully starting my Christmas shopping this week:)
