Well today was the day we have waited over a year for. We were up and out of the house by 8:00am, Emma was a bit pissy about not being able to eat/drink since last night but she got over it when she seen her new toys:)
We were at the hospital and checked in by 8:45 and within mins of getting there Child Life was by her side with Justin Bieber music:) He came with us to have her vitals taken and took us downstairs to wait for her MRI. He got called back upstairs right before we were called in the back. I was a bit worried but for no reason since she did awesome. They let me come with her to be with her while they put her under. She is great but as she was half way between awake and sleeping she hollered out "But I'm not tired", it was the funnies thing ever, everyone got a good laugh as we told her she will be in a minute lol. A minute later she was out like a light, no tears from her and none from me...We both did well lol.
Dave and I took off to timmies for some breakfast since we did not want to eat in front of her and got back downstairs about 20 minutes before she was done. When the nurse came to get us Emma was still pretty well out for the count, her eyes were open and she was crying but she for sure was not all there. Her cry broke my heart:( Once we were upstairs and in recovery I put her music on for her (THANK YOU JUSTIN BIEBER!!!! YOU SAVED THE DAY) and she calmed right down (other than her 2 second "I don't like this Dr fit, lol)but was still not responding at all to us our the nurses. Took her about 20 mins or so to come too, once she was awake she was ready to go, she ate a few cookies and drank some apple juice and home we went...Over all she did great and got 3 new Justin Bieber stickers for being so brave from the wonderful MRI nurses...
