Strep Throat and new glasses

It has been a bit crazy around here the last few weeks, Jenna and Mikalah both came down with strep throat at the same time. It is hard enough when 1 is down with an illness and high fever let alone trying to keep 2 kids fevers down (I am talking fevers of over 104.0) :@ But they made it through and are 100% back to normal after a nice round of heavy duty antibiotics!!! Emma and Owen have complained a bit about sore throats but so far no fevers from them so I think they just have a bit of a change of weather scratchy throats.

So Dawson had his yearly eye exam today, he did FANTASTIC, he let her do drops to without a fight, he is such a good boy:) So it turns out that his eye sight has got a bit worse over the last few years since she started following him. He has needed glasses since he was about 10 months old but we could never get him to wear them, when we moved here and she first checked him out we decided that it was best to not fight with him and cross our fingers his eyes would get better as he grew. Turns out that it was just not the case for my little man and he will be sporting a new pair of glasses within the next few weeks when his glasses come in (I will post pics as soon as he gets them). He is actually really excited to get them, he picked out blue power ranger frames. I just hope he actually wears them this time :)
