Its been a good few days

I might be jinxing myself here but Dawson has had a great few days. Minimal pain (the little bit he has had has been during the day and only his right leg). Its always nice for him to have a break from the pain and be able to play like a child should be able to play.

We got his papers from the school today. He starts school on Sept 8th with the rest of the kids. He will start out as full day every other day like all the j/k,s/k kids if he can not handle it we can put him down to half day and see how that goes. If I had it my way he would stay home with me this year but Daddy really wants to try this out (and I guess I have to agree lol). We need to treat him like every other child and let him enjoy school as best as he can. I do not have all the documentation I will need yet (from his Dr's) but I do have his P/T and O/T updated. I am hoping that he will get the full EA support the promised us. He also is still not day trained and will be starting school in full time diapers. The school was not overly happy about this one but what can you do.

The letter also stated that they will have a child with severe peanut/nut allergies in their class this year (fist time ever since my kids started at this school 2 years ago). I am not sure what we will do for Owen and Dawson since all they eat for lunch lately is PB and J and chocolate sandwiches (Nutella). I will have to pick up some stuff this week and hope and pray I can find a "new" fav that is nut free.

Try Pea Butter. Looks the same, tastes pretty good too. Lots of kids like it. You will have to write a note likely for the teacher though as it looks exactly liek peanut butter and they might freak out a bit.
