Report on Renal Scan

YAY!!!!!! Is all I have to say. Got a call fist thing this morning and the report was good. Minimal scarring in both kidneys and kidney function is good (within normal limits). His function is 46.5 (normal is within 45 to 65) so he is the lower end of NORMAL (but still normal and that's all that matters). We still have to wait for the results from the VCUG but I am not overly worried about that one. So as for now I am thanking my lucky stars that 4 years of the same UTI has not damaged his kidneys as much as the dr thought. As for the cath we will wait till our appt and find out more about that. I still think we need to get on the UTI and get rid of it for good because I still worry that it will do more damage (his kidney function can change over night as can the scarring).

Mikalah also had her repeat X ray on her foot today and after 5 weeks in a cast she is free. She is very happy to be able to finish out the summer with no cast. The Dr. still wants her wearing it if she is running around but I don't see that happening at all lol.

So overall it was a good news day:)
