Falling into place

The Helmet is ORDERED!!!! Lets just pray we get it in time for him to start school on the 28th.

We had a huge meeting at the school last week. There was about 20 people there. P/T's,O/T's (a few of each), 2 Special needs Coordinators,Principal,myself, D Man and Daddy,2 EA's and the teacher. We got to view the room that they will us as his change room and go over the safety plan (with the p/t and o/t's there so they could add to it if need be) and tie up all lose ends. Poor Dawson was dying. He was sooo tired. His poor eyes were rolling back and he was getting lathargic and pale (he does this when he is tired and his body is giving out). They all got to see this (a good thing that they did) because now they see why I was fighting a full 8 hour day. He can NOT handle it (this appt was at 11 am). So they all agree not that 4 hours is enough so he will start off only going until 12:10. We can wean him into a full day over time. I am happy with this.

On another good note, I recived a call today from the Special Needs Coordinator regarding Emma. The phychologest is ready to start testing on thursday!!!!!!!!!! This is GREAT news. The quicker we get this done the quicker we can get a better plan in place for her at school. So over all things are falling into place.
