Urology and more tests

We got some papers from Urology. We will see them in October. He also will have a bunch of tests done through them :@ Not sure when the tests will end. We are tired (more me than him I think lol). I am not 100% sure what these new tests are for or why he is having them done (I have not had a chance to call them yet). The one test is a kidney ultrasound. I think it is very silly to do a kidney ultrasound when he JUST had the renal scan done (the renal scan is much more accurate that an ultrasound). Since the scan was good with the exception to some MILD scars I feel there is no reason to do an ultrasound. I will be calling them on Monday for sure.

So on to the D man. He is doing well, he has already been up once tonight (he played outside all afternoon so it was no surprise). We tried Tylenol today and crossing our fingers that it will work all night for him like the Motrin does. I did not buy the Tylenol the day we found out that the Motrin could be the cause of the kidney issues and he got up that night in pain. I felt SOOOOO bad giving him the Motrin but knew if I did not he would suffer:( Just the thought that the one med that takes his joint pain away could be the one thing that is slowly damaging his kidneys. I went out the next morning for Tylenol, and did not feel guilty giving him that tonight. So if it works we will be switching him to that and only keeping Motrin around for odd fevers.

As for school we are still not sure when he will start but there is talk about starting him half day for a bit to see how it goes. Will update when I know more.
